Tasting Notes / Drink 2010 – 2018

This wine was made from 100% fully ripe Merlot from vines situated on the limestone plateau just to the south of the Chateau. The fruit was picked in late September and early October in full maturity and in perfect sunny conditions.

It shows a deep, but bright velvety colour with great richness and appeal, aromas of black fruits and spice, followed on the palate by luscious concentrated juicy fruit flavours and a good long finish.

This is a wine for early and delicious drinking, commencing in 2010 but it will also continue to improve with bottle age and develop over the next 5-7 years. Drink 2010-2018.
